The news programme in mobile format covers all the main headlines and weather forecasts. It will be updated every hour through to 11 p.m., starting from 7 a.m. on Mondays to Fridays, and from 8 a.m. on weekends and public holidays. The German-Swiss SF shows will be presented by the familiar news presenters Katja Stauber, Cornelia Bösch and Franz Fischlin. And for the French-Swiss TSR programmes, the equally well-known presenters Pierre Smets and Cédrine Vergain will feature in front of the camera.

Until 31 January 2007, you can subscribe to the News in 100 Seconds and try it out free of charge for 30 days. After that, the service will be available on subscription with unlimited access at a cost of CHF 9 per month. Alternatively, you can pay for an individual broadcast costing one Swiss franc. To receive the programmes, Swisscom Mobile customers will require a UMTS- or EDGE-enabled mobile phone.

With SMS alerts, customers can also receive free details at 5 p.m. every day of the top headlines on "SF Tagesschau 100 Sekunden" and "TSR Le Journal 100 secondes" or breaking news as it happens.
