| Faster Internet connections throughout Switzerland: Swisscom greatly increases ADSL bandwidths |

| Swisscom Fixnet Wholesale is once again massively increasing the bandwidths of its ADSL connections. Data download speeds will go up by as much as 1,500 kbps while upload speeds will nearly triple. These increased bandwidths will automatically be made available to all connections beginning 13 March 2007. Swisscom Fixnet Wholesale has also announced its first VDSL offerings for summer 2007. |

| The market is experiencing a growing demand for higher bandwidths for the purpose of online surfing and data transmission. Another clearly visible trend is residential customers' increasing need for higher data download speeds. Swisscom Fixnet Wholesale is meeting these changing customer requirements with its overhauled ADSL portfolio.
Customers will now be able to take advantage of 1,500 kbps in additional bandwidth when downloading data and an upload transmission rate up to three times greater than in the past. Bandwidths will be increased automatically on 13 March 2007, customers need not do anything. Over 1.4 million customers currently use ADSL in Switzerland.

Expansion of the broadband infrastructure throughout Switzerland
At present, 94 percent of end customers throughout Switzerland will benefit from this latest increase in bandwidths. Whether a customer will be able to utilise the maximum bandwidth depends on the distance between the ADSL connection's location and the nearest Swisscom exchange. In Switzerland, over 98.6 percent of the nearly four million fixed network lines currently have ADSL coverage.
Launch of first VDSL offerings
In the summer of 2007, Swisscom Fixnet Wholesale will introduce attractive VDSL offerings for residential and business customers with minimum speeds of 10,000 kbps. VDSL is considered the successor to ADSL and is the future technology in the broadband business. By the end of 2008, Swisscom will have invested a total of around CHF 600 to 700 million in VDSL network expansion alone.
More choice thanks to specialised Internet service providers
Swisscom Fixnet Wholesale markets xDSL offerings throughout Switzerland via a network of around 30 Internet service providers. The offerings comprise a wide range of broadband solutions which cover the special needs of residential and business customers.
