Implenia builds on Swisscom IT Services as SAP operating partner |

| Starting in June 2009, Swisscom IT Services will operate all SAP applications for the Implenia construction services group. The contract, which includes operation and 24-hour support, will run for four years. |

Implenia AG, the internationally active Swiss construction group, is outsourcing operation of its entire SAP landscape to Swisscom IT Services. This includes basic operation of the SAP applications ERP 6.0, Business Warehouse, the industry solutions Construction, Real Estate and Facility Management, as well as support for the Oracle databases and Windows Server 2008.
Swisscom IT Services was selected because of its ability to cater to Implenia's increased requirements in full and at competitive terms. One of the criteria was that business-critical applications be assured comprehensive 24-hour support by two redundant Swiss computing centres.
Extensive SAP expertise
With our modern computing centres, we will deliver a robust and simultaneously forward-looking solution to provide end-to-end support for Implenia's critical business processes," explains René Burgener, Head of Commercial at Swisscom IT Services. "We are delighted to have won over this well-known construction giant with our extensive SAP expertise and our professional range of services," added René Burgener. The Swiss IT provider recently bundled its SAP know-how in a competence centre and, with more than 200 SAP-certified employees, has an experienced and highly capable team.
The four-year outsourcing agreement will start in June 2009.
