With a staff of around 250, we operate for our customers the most advanced infrastructure in Switzerland for the broadcasting of radio, television and mobile communication signals. Designed to tackle our country’s special topographic conditions, this infrastructure helps us to guarantee high-quality reception the length and breadth of Switzerland.
As a forward-looking company, Swisscom Broadcast is also developing both DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial) and DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting – Handhelds) technologies. Digital radio DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) and audiovisual transmission using IP technology are also gaining in importance, and their development is set to continue.
