Swisscom is listed on the "EU-compatible" segment of the SIX Swiss Exchange. In accordance with the changes to the SEC rules introduced in spring 2007 which have made registration simpler within the framework of the US American Exchange Act, the Swisscom Board of Directors decided to delist its shares from the NYSE. The deregistration came into force in December 2007.

 

According to the press release issued by the Federal Department of Finance on 29  March 2009, the Swiss Confederation has a majority holding in the company in terms of capital and votes, amounting to 29.5 million shares or 56.9% of Swisscom's share capital. No cross-shareholdings exist between Swisscom and other public limited companies.
