Computers and the Internet are indispensable tools for students at the secondary school I level. Most vocational training today requires media skills at the outset. Computers and the Internet can also be a valuable way to supplement classroom learning: e.g. search tools, information source or text tool – the new media are omnipresent for secondary school students and media skills are today a prerequisite for most vocational training programmes.
