On 1 March Swisscom Fixnet is introducing the Half-Price Mini-Combi subscription to complement its existing Half-Price National, International and Combi subscriptions. Residential customers with this new subscription will pay no charges for calls on the Swiss fixed network between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on weekdays and around the clock at weekends (max. 300 free calls per month). Calls made during these periods to countries within Europe and to the USA and Canada will be charged at half price. The maximum discount for international calls is CHF 100 per month. The monthly subscription charge for the Half-Price Mini-Combi will be CHF 7.80, and between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays the standard Swisscom Fixnet rates for calls within Switzerland and to Europe, Canada and the USA will apply.

More service for the same price with the Half-Price National and Combi subscriptions as well

From 1 March residential customers will also be able to make free calls with the existing Half-Price National and Combi subscriptions. As with the Mini-Combi subscription, calls made on the Swiss fixed network between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. and all day at weekends will be free of charge (max. 300 free calls per month). This attractive new offering will replace the 60 minutes' free monthly calling time for residential customers. The subscription charges for the two offerings will remain the same and the modifications will take place automatically without the need for any action on the part of the customer. The Half-Price International subscription will remain unchanged.

The current subscriptions with free calling time for business customers will continue to apply. They will receive the Half-Price National and Combi subscriptions and additionally from now on the Mini-Combi subscription with 60 minutes' free calling time.

The monthly access charge (CHF 25.25 for analogue lines, CHF 43 for ISDN lines) will remain the same for all subscriptions.
