For fifteen years now, the Whitsun Concerts, a world class festival of chamber music, has been held in the Kartause in Ittingen. The former monastery offers a unique venue for this diverse series of concerts, which are now an integral part of the Swiss music scene. Every year, artistic directors Heinz Holliger and Andràs Schiff invite major international musicians to Ittingen. Swisscom is sponsor of the series of concerts.
