    Dr. Jürgen Galler

    As of Autumn 2012 Chief Strategy Officer and member of Group Executive Board of Swisscom. Chairman of Swisscom Hospitality Services Plus SA and Member of the Board of Swisscom IT Services, Fastweb and Belgacom International Services (BICS).

     

    Before joining Swisscom, 5 years at Google last at YouTube as Director Product Management and Engineering. Co-Founder of an IT startup for mobility services, Madrid and Düsseldorf. Various functions at Bertelsmann-Lycos in Spain and Germany. Founder member and General Manager of IDS Scheer Korea and CEO IDS Scheer Japan.

    Ueli Dietiker

    Ueli Dietiker joined Swisscom in autumn 2001 and initially held the position of Head of Strategic Growth & Related Businesses, before later becoming Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO of Swisscom Ltd. Dietiker was also interim CEO of the former Group company Swisscom Fixnet Ltd. Dietiker is a certified public accountant and previously worked at ATAG Ernst & Young and Motor Columbus and was CEO of Cablecom until 2001.

    Dominique Mégret (Head of Swisscom Ventures)

    Dominique joined Swisscom in 2002 as head of the Group Strategy unit before starting Swisscom Ventures three years later.  He has a background as a entrepreneur in the UK, Germany and France (co-founder of Kick-Start Ventures). In addition, Dominique has worked as strategy consultant and manager in the IT industry. Dominique graduated from Insead (MBA).

    Pär Lange (Investment Officer)

    Before joining Swisscom Ventures in 2005, Pär was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of a Stockholm based advisory firm with focus on early stage investments in the ICT area. Prior to this, he co-founded a mobile operator which successfully obtained a 3G license in Sweden. He started his career as an R&D engineer, designing RF and microwave circuitry followed by a three year assignment in sales and marketing of cellular systems for Ericsson in Japan. Pär has an M.Sc. in Physics, and an MBA degree from INSEAD.

    Stefan Kuentz  (Investment Officer)

    Stefan joined Swisscom in 2003. Prior to Swisscom Ventures, Stefan held positions as Head of Professional Services and Business Development. Under his responsibility new units were built, e.g  Security, managed Contact Center services. From 2007 - 2010 Stefan was based in Silicon Valley to scout new technologies and introduce innovative businesses into Swisscom, e.g. cloud services. Stefan has a degree as Certified Expert in Information Technology and was for many years at IBM, heading IT Strategy consulting in his last position.

    Carlo Grassi (Financial Manager)

    Carlo has been working for many years in different financial and participation management positions at Swisscom and related companies.  At Swisscom Ventures, he manages the financial and administration part, where he can leverage his experience in the incorporation,  financing, accounting and participation management of start-up companies.

    Ursula Oesterle (VP Innovations)

    Since 2003, Ursula has been managing Swisscom’s open innovation and scouting activities out of Silicon Valley. She was based in Singapore from 2007- 2009 to build up the Asia Pacific network. Prior to Swisscom she worked in a start-up in semiconductor lasers in Switzerland and was Program Manager of a Swiss National Science Program spinning technology out from academia. She holds a PhD in physics from EPFL and has a business degree from IMD in Lausanne.

    Rob Trice (Venture Partner)

    Rob is an established international venture capital investor, having invested in companies in the US, Asia and Europe for over a decade. Before he was Senior Managing Director of SK Telecom Ventures at its inception in 2008, co-founding Partner of Nokia Growth Partners (2004 – 2008), Nokia Venture Partners (now BlueRun Ventures, 2000-2004). Prior to working in venture capital, he worked at DIRECTV in Los Angeles and Tokyo, and as an international policy analyst at a Washington, D.C. based think tank, the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He holds a Master of Arts from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia. Rob is based in Menlo Park, California.
