Swisscom caters to their needs through a flexible service offering that includes both a "Business" service for power web users and an "Economy" service for light users. Your guests can select either service comfortably on Swisscom's Guestroom 2.0 Internet portal:

  • "Business" offers prioritized bandwidth and unlimited data volumes, making it the ideal choice for multimedia content downloads, Voice over IP calls or any other "bandwidth-hungry" applications.
  • "Economy" offers reliable connectivity at standard speeds, and at lower cost. It is suitable for webmail checking, Internet browsing and instant messaging.

Moreover, our Guestroom 2.0 Internet portal features a variety of web 2.0-based information and communication services that respond directly to travelers’ needs in hotels:

  • Secure printing facilities - with printing being enabled from the guest room or anywhere else on your property through the Swisscom Business Center Solution 
  • Access to digital editions of over 600 newspapers worldwide
  • Location-based information about points of interest in the hotel’s surroundings
  • Access to over 8'000 web radios worldwide
  • A real-time flight checker with an automatic alert function for the traveler

Connecting is fast and easy: Our optimized interface allows your guests to get online in a few seconds. Likewise, Swisscom offers your guests a convenient choice of payment options (room invoicing, payment at the reception desk, online payment via secure credit card facility).


Integrating Swisscom Premium Internet with your PMS
Our Guestroom 2.0 Internet portal can be customized to reflect your hotel or brand identity, and it can be personalised to the language preference of the individual guest. Swisscom works with the industry's top 10 property management system (PMS) providers to allow full integration with your service settings. Taking things one step further, we can create an innovative Concierge page that integrates our Internet services with your hotel & room services, from your pillow menu to express checkout.


Broadband connectivity throughout your property
Swisscom offers integrated wired and wireless access at the hotel room through its Guestroom 2.0 portal; self-care Internet access solutions for your Meeting space; and wireless access in public areas including hotel lobbies, lounge, bar and other areas.  

Swisscom Premium Internet services are based on an advanced network infrastructure that is remotely managed through our Network Operations Centers. Bandwidth availability and usage can be monitored down to the user level.


High security
Our Premium Internet services are compatible with latest Virtual Private Network technology; embedded security measures include virus protection, firewalls and encrypted secure payment facilities. We want you and your guests to have total peace of mind.

Customer care
Remote monitoring by our Network Operations Centres ensure high performance and availability. However, should help be required, our multi-lingual Customer Support Team is on call 24 hours a day.

Hotel staff and customers simply call a toll-free international number - 00 800 38 767 768 - where expert multi-lingual personnel will provide step-by-step assistance. And if problems can’t be resolved immediately they are automatically escalated to our helpdesk team specialising in hospitality services.
