In addition, around 30 freelancers work for the company and need access to project documentation. This is possible with the low-cost K1 plan with mailbox for browser access and view-only access to SharePoint.
The seamless switch from Exchange 2003 to Office 365 Exchange Online is carried out by a Swisscom expert over a weekend. The desired scenarios are dealt with step-by-step on SharePoint.
Practical example C: large company with overseas branches
Company C has 3,600 employees at its Swiss headquarters and branches across the world. She chooses Office 365, the cheapest way to run an Exchange mailbox.
A project folder for internal and external staff is placed on Office 365 SharePoint. The company buys the E3 plan, including Exchange, SharePoint and Office licences, for all employees.
