IMAP: access your e-mails where you are
With IMAP, you have total control over your e-mails wherever you are: on your smartphone, laptop, tablet and PC. You can read your e-mails on any device without removing them from the server. The current status of any message – e.g. “read”, “answered” or “deleted” – is visible on all devices, along with the folders you use to organise your e-mails. Practical: IMAP shows you a list with the subject lines and senders of your e-mails. You can therefore delete unwanted messages before downloading them.

IMAP is an e-mail protocol (Internet Message Access Protocol). Compared to the POP-3-protocol, it offers additional practical functions for working in different fixed and mobile locations.
