SMS notification

An easier way of making calls

You know the situation - you’re trying to reach a business partner but they’re not answering. Previously you would have had to keep ringing again and again to see if they’d become available. Thanks to SMS availability notification, you can be much more relaxed about situations such as this.

Here’s how it works

The free SMS service kicks in if the person you are trying to reach

  • is already on the phone.
  • has no mobile phone reception.
  • has switched off their phone.
If you do not leave a message on the COMBOX®, you will automatically receive an SMS as soon as the person you are trying to reach becomes available. So you will no longer have to go through the annoying experience of having to keep ringing back.

If you are calling within the Swisscom mobile network, your company will automatically benefit from the free SMS notification service.

If you do not wish to use the SMS service, send a free SMS with the keyword STOP REMINDER to 444 by 05.10.09. Deactivation is free of charge and will be confirmed by SMS.

Never miss a call again

The SMS information service sends you a free SMS whenever you miss a call either because your mobile phone was switched off or because there was no reception. This service is available to all Swisscom Mobile customers.

Here's how it works

Each time you switch on your mobile phone or have reception again, you receive a free SMS advising you of any unsuccessful attempt to get through to you. The sender is the person who called. If the caller’s number is stored in your mobile phone, the person’s name or number will be displayed on your screen.
One SMS is sent per caller. This service enables you to keep track of who has tried to call you, as well as the time of their last call.
The service does not work if the caller has blocked his phone number ID.
